The structure and working principle of the melting furnace dust collector are the key to ensuring effective control of smoke and dust in industrial production processes. The design of this equipment fully considers the working characteristics of the melting furnace, and through physical and chemical means, high-energy filtration and removal of smoke and dust are carried out to ensure the cleanliness of the production environment and the health of production personnel.


At first, structurally speaking, the melting furnace dust collector was mainly composed of a vacuum hood, flue, electric valve, pulse bag dust collector, fan, chimney, and electrical control. The vacuum hood is responsible for capturing the smoke and dust generated by the melting furnace, and guiding the smoke and dust to the pulse bag filter through the flue. Electric valves play a role in regulating and controlling airflow during the dust removal process. The pulse bag filter is the core of the entire system, and its internal filter bag can filter smoke and dust with high energy, allowing clean air to be discharged. The fan provides power to make the smoke and dust flow in the pipeline and be discharged after being treated by the dust collector. The processed air is discharged into the atmosphere through chimneys.


In terms of working principle, the melting furnace dust collector mainly relies on two processes of filtration and ash cleaning to achieve the removal of smoke and dust. When the melting furnace produces smoke and dust, the negative pressure inside the dust hood and the upward force of the high-temperature flue gas work together, causing the smoke and dust to be sucked into the hood and enter the dust collector. During the filtration process, smoke and dust pass through the guide plate inside the ash hopper, causing some large particles of dust to be separated by inertial forces and fall into the ash hopper. The dusty gas then enters the filter bag filtration area of the middle box, and the gas passes through the filter bag, while the dust is trapped on the outer surface of the filter bag. The purified gas enters the upper box through the filter bag and is then discharged through the chimney after passing through the fan through the air outlet.


As time goes by, the dust layer on the filter bag continues to accumulate and the resistance of the dust removal equipment gradually increases. When the resistance of the equipment reaches the set value, the cleaning process begins. First, close the lift valve of one compartment, cut off the filtered gas, and then open the electromagnetic pulse valve. Use compressed air to spray towards the upper box in a short period of time, causing the filter bag to rapidly expand, peeling off the dust attached to the outer surface of the filter bag and falling into the ash hopper. After the dust cleaning is completed, the electromagnetic pulse valve is closed, the lifting valve is opened, and the chamber returns to the filtering state. The cleaning process is carried out sequentially to ensure that each compartment can receive effective cleaning treatment.


In addition, the melting furnace dust collector is equipped with an electrical control system to achieve automated control of the entire dust removal process. By setting appropriate parameters and monitoring the operating status of the equipment, the high-energy and stable operation of the dust collector can be ensured.
