Spray tower

The spray tower exists as a treatment equipment for environmental waste gas treatment. Based on its working principle, it is divided into circulating water spray tower, alkali spray tower, and acid spray tower. According to the material of the tower body, it is divided into fiberglass spray tower, PP spray tower, and stainless steel spray tower. Reasonable spray materials and spray processes are selected based on the different properties of the waste gas.

Working principle of spray tower

When dusty or oily exhaust gas passes through the spray tower, liquid medium is sprayed from appropriate locations inside the tower (determined by design), which can be alkali solution or sulfuric acid solution. If the exhaust gas contains acidity, alkali solution is chosen for spraying and neutralizing the acidity; if the exhaust gas contains alkalinity, sulfuric acid solution is selected for absorption. The specific choice of acid or alkali solution depends on the nature of the exhaust gas and the specific situation of the enterprise. Exhaust gas without acidity or alkalinity but containing oil and dust can be treated by spraying with circulating aqueous solution. When the exhaust gas enters from the bottom of the tower, it comes into contact with the spray medium sprayed from the tower. After contact, the exhaust gas or oil is wrapped by water droplets, and the water droplets carrying pollutants collide again, increasing their surface area and gravity. Under the influence of increased gravity, the water droplets carrying pollutants fall into the bottom of the spray tower due to gravity, with heavier pollutants sinking to the bottom of the tower and lighter pollutants floating on the surface of the circulating water body.
