Water film dust collector

A water film dust collector is a purification device that utilizes dust-laden gas to impact the water film formed on the inner wall or other special components of the dust collector by some method, allowing the dust to be captured by the water film and the gas to be purified. It includes various classifications such as impact water film, inert (louver) water film, and centrifugal water film dust collectors.

Working principle

The working principle of the water film dust collector is as follows: Dust-laden gas is introduced tangentially from the lower part of the cylinder, rotates and rises, and dust particles are separated by centrifugal force. They are thrown towards the inner wall of the cylinder, adsorbed by the flowing water film layer on the inner wall, and flow down to the bottom cone with the water, where they are discharged through the dust discharge outlet. The formation of the water film layer is achieved by several nozzles arranged at the upper part of the cylinder, which spray water tangentially onto the wall. In this way, a thin layer of water film that rotates and flows downwards is always covered on the inner wall of the cylinder, achieving the purpose of improving dust removal efficiency.
